Umbrian Stairs 5×7

A sun-drenched stairway in an Umbrian village in Italy, done mostly in a golden ink called Honey Burst that is the closest I’ve come to Italy in a bottle.

5 x 7 inches, ink and watercolor on paper. The paper itself measures 6 x 9 inches.

Paintings are signed on the back in pen. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
