Santo Cafe in Ink, Guanajuato
This is a second version of a painting of The Santo Cafe in Guanajuato. This time I used a dip pen for darker, inkier lines.
The Santo Cafe is a little cafe on a tiny bridge in Guanajuato, Mexico. There are only three or four tables on the bridge so you’re lucky if you can get one. It’s a dreamy spot to sit and people-watch. I like it so much that I’ve painted it twice and I will probably paint it again.
4 x 6 inches, ink, and watercolor on paper. The paper itself measures 5 x 7 inches.
Paintings are signed on the back in pen. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
