Palm Springs Sunset 6×6

I try very hard not to be awake to see this, but: the sunrise from my studio window, which in the middle of the summer happens at 4:45. That’s the Fremont bridge on the horizon.

This is painted with gouache and ink. The image is 6×6 and the paper is 140 lb watercolor paper measuring 8×8 inches.

Paintings are signed on the back in pencil. Some of my paintings will have minor scuffs, blemishes, or marks around the edges. This won’t be visible when the painting is framed, and is just part of the art-making process.
