Montmartre Cafes at Night 6×8

Another imaginary travel scene…how wonderful would it be to take a seat at one of these sidewalk cafes near Montmartre in Paris right now? This is a mixed media painting done in gouache, colored pencil, and marker, very much in the free, loose style that I would use if I was painting onsite. It’s as close as I can get to a street sketch without actually being there!

This painting measures 6×8 inches. The paper is high-quality 140 lb watercolor paper measuring 8 x 10 inches.

Paintings are signed on the back in pencil.
