Flowers in Civita 1

This is one of three paintings I did of the same scene in Civita, a tiny hilltop village in Italy. I created an online class on how to paint this particular scene, so the three versions were created as part of the process of making the class. It was good to spend so much time (mentally, anyway) in Civita!

5 x 5 inches, ink and watercolor on paper. The paper itself measures 6 x 9 inches and can be cut down to fit any size frame.

Paintings are signed on the back in pen. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
