Cienfuegos Yacht Club, Cuba, 5×7

You wouldn’t think I’d go all the way to Cuba to paint the yacht club, but this crisp white building in the gorgeous town of Cienfuegos just spoke to me. Cuba has its own kind of elegance. This one is gouache with a touch of mixed media–colored pencil, marker, paint pen.

This painting measures 5×7 inches. The paper is high-quality 140 lb watercolor paper measuring 7×10 inches. (You can cut the paper to fit a frame, I’ve just left extra paper around the edge so you’ll have flexibility)

Paintings are signed on the back in pencil. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
