Broadway to the Woolworth Building 5×7

This is one of a few different paintings I made of this scene for a class I teach on Skillshare. I’m looking down Broadway toward the Woolworth Building. I liked this one a lot because I used ink and dip pen and tried to keep the paint very loose. It gives me this cool illustrator style I really enjoy.

5 x 7 inches, ink and watercolor on paper. The paper itself measures 7 x 10 inches.

Paintings are signed on the back in pen. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
