Blue Door, Guanajuato, Mexico

A painting of a blue door in Guanajuato, Mexico, surrounded by just a few of the many fabulous colors you’ll see in this beautiful city. I love the way the brick and stone is starting to reveal itself again. I teach a class on Skillshare about painting doors, and I featured this one in the class because it offers a little bit of everything in terms of color and texture.

Paintings are signed on the back in pen. Some of my paintings are done on-site, which means that the paper may have slight scuffs or very minor blemishes around the edges or on the back. That’s just part of the process of working outdoors.
