Florida guest house

What a great feeling to be back from the book tour and finally able to pick up a paintbrush again.  There will be lots of paintings of New York over the coming months, but for now I'm posting something I finished just before I left:  a painting of a poolside guest house on an island off the Florida coast.

Click here if you'd like to bid on it.  It's an 8 x 10 inch oil on board, ready to frame.

I also post these paintings on Lost Coast Daily Painters, a group blog I participate in along with four other great Humboldt County painters.  Everything that doesn't sell on eBay goes in a Buy It Now section, and you can find some great bargains there from all of us.  Check it out!

  1. Love your painting! Great feeling and colors. You are so multi talented!
I read your ‘Flower Confidential ‘ when it first came out and bought it for friends… told everyone I know in the flower markets I use as well. Being a flower arranger for over twenty years I had been pleading with suppliers to buy flowers from companies that treated their workers well and tried not to use so many pesticides! So great that things are getting better still much work to do however. I so enjoy your writing that I read your other books too. I look forward to reading your latest.

  3. That is a very nice painting, indeed! I took some art classes a few years ago, and just recently started painting again. My work is nowhere near as impressive as yours, however. Thank you for sharing ๐Ÿ˜€
