February Booksense pick!

It’s a great honor to have Flower Confidential chosen as a Booksense pick for February.  If you hang out in independent bookstores as much as I do, you know that they all get together and vote on their favorite new books, and publish a kind of nationwide "staff picks" list.  That’s the Booksense list.  It’s a huge honor for a bookstore junkie like me.  These are my people!

Here’s what one bookseller had to say:

"Amy Stewart’s great new book recounts the often amazing and fascinating story of the cut flower industry. It’s wonderfully readable, and you will never look at a gerbera daisy with the same eyes again!" — Lyn Dulkinys, Anderson’s Bookshop, Naperville, IL
