LA Times, San Francisco Chronicle

I’m home for a whole week before the Bay Area events begin!  What a luxury.  Who knows–I might even get outside to pull a weed or two. Meanwhile, check out the profile in the LA Times here, and a story about growing cut flowers in your garden that I wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle...

Reviews and updates

I’ve updated the Reviews and Media pages of my website.  You’ll find links to lots more radio interviews, and there’s a San Francisco Chronicle review here, and a review in the Richmond Times-Dispatch here. Also, in today’s New York Times, Flower Confidential is listed in the Editor’s Choice section under the bestseller lists.  Although the list only goes to 15 in the print edition, Flower Confidential is...

Times Sunday Book Review!

My first review in the New York Times Sunday Book Review! "Engaging and scrupulously reported," writes reviewer Constance Casey. The Floral Industry Responds

Here’s a round-up of comments I’ve received from florists, growers, and other industry people around the country about the book, my recent NYT op-ed piece, and all the other coverage and discussion surrounding Flower Confidential: "Your book Flower Confidential is amazing! I have been in the floral industry for 24 years…Your book truly does say it all about the floral industry–what it once was and what it is...
